Grass cutting

Here in New England we have cool-season grasses, fine and tall fescue, Kentucky Blue and, ryegrass is prevalent in most lawns. The following is a general guide for more information you should contact the CT extension office or a reputable garden center. Most importantly, remember to mow shorter for the final fall mowing to prevent snow mold also while changing cutting heights, make changes gradually over two or three mows. To aide in the control of disease you should clean your mower blades and under the mowing deck after each cut.
